Ryan Benito Soto, a sculptor and toy customizer from Fullerton, CA, began drawing at an early age with his mother's encouragement, providing a distraction from the challenges of a violent home. His passion for art and later toy customization fueled his dream of working with Plastic Cell. Ryan now holds the position of a full-time mold maker and caster at Plasticcell Studios.

The Half Beast, originally created by Danny, has cast a looming presence over Plastic Cell Studios for Ryan since he first began working there – always present, always watching. After dedicating several years to the studio, Danny & Ryan decided to work together on a Half Beast collaboration project. Drawing inspiration from the Half Beast's fierce, everlasting, ominous presence, Ryan incorporated these emotions into the creature's newest form.

For Ryan, this project serves as a literal, tangible representation of achieving dreams and accomplishing goals.
