As far as I can remember, the Ninja Turtles were my introduction to martial arts, action figures, movies, cartoons, and pizza – all things I still love to this day. I had all the toys and merch, watched the vhs tapes over and over, and begged my mom to put me in karate. For lots of kids in my generation, they encapsulated all things fun, cool, and badass, and I think despite their influence on so many other properties throughout the years, they continue to endure because of their totally tubular originality. ~Gian Galang
